GFS's reference sheet on water wash spray booths — wet scrubbing for high-volume overspray capture where dry filters can't keep up. The water wash scrubber uses enhanced impingement technology for efficient airborne particulate removal, rated around 5,000 CFM of contaminated air per air/liquid nozzle using chemically compounded water as the wash medium. EnviroTect and Dynaprecipitator models are available for matching scrubber design to production overspray loads.

Water Wash Spray Booths are ideal when using large quantities of coatings. GFS is experienced at designing and building Water Wash Booths to meet your specific size and configuration requirements. GFS will work with you to determine the best solution for your needs. EnviroTect washer section employs a built-in trough which provides an initial wetting action on the particulates. This enables the EnviroTect booth to perform efficiently with even the most difficult coating materials. Straight line, non-turbulent airflow through this spray curtain improves paint particulate capture and cleaning action while reducing energy consumption. Air/liquid nozzles are spaced as necessary depending on production and air volume requirements. Interior surfaces are wetted to eliminate paint overspray build-up which reduces booth cleaning and captures the paint within the eliminator for removal.
